Breast Cancer Run 2024

TIME: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM
LOCATION: Nakasero Primary School
ENTRY FEE: $10.00
DISTANCE: 5km & 10km
Join the E.R.I.C. Cancer Initiative Uganda in the fight against breast cancer! This charity run aims to raise funds for a breast cancer screening van to provide free or low-cost screenings for women across Uganda. Many women face barriers in accessing vital breast cancer screening services due to cost and availability, and this run helps bridge the gap.
How You Can Participate:
- Ambassador: Sign up as an advocate to raise awareness.
- Sponsor: Companies can sponsor the run and receive branding opportunities.
- Purchase a Vest: Buy a runner’s vest for 30,000 UGX to support the fundraiser.
- Form a Team: Gather your colleagues or friends and join as a group.
- Vendor: Book a stall for 100,000 UGX to supply food, water, or juice to participants.
Run Hampers:
- Runner’s vests: 30,000 UGX (adult and children sizes available).
- Customization: 50,000 UGX to honor a breast cancer survivor or a loved one.
- Target: Raise 400 million UGX for a fully equipped breast cancer screening van.

Fight Pink Disc Golf Tournament
at E.R.I.C. Scorpion Course
DATE: November 2, 2024
LOCATION: The Hideaway Disc Golf Ranch, Terrell, TX
Join us for a weekend of disc golf to help fight cancer, featuring local pros Jaden Rye, Gabriel Hernandez, Isaac Marrs, and Nolan Grider. The tournament includes added cash prizes for the Pro Division and merchandise for amateur players.
The event will feature E.R.I.C. vs Cancer Fight Pink Skins, a doubles tournament presented by Innova, and plenty of opportunities to support cancer prevention efforts through donations and registration.
Camping is available for $10/night, and RV spots for $35/night.
