This partnership was a monumental tool to the ERIC arsenal because findhelp.org can provide assistance to hundreds of communities across the nation. Expanding has always been the goal for ERIC and doing so in the most comprehensive and meaningful ways has been the obstacle. The website is very easy to use, you may start on ERIC’s SCREEN UP page or from the findhelp.org website. Here are instructions for you to follow!
(1) Starting from ERIC’s Screen Up page, insert your zip code then click search
(2) Once on the findhelp.org site, type CANCER SCREENINGS in the search bar then press the magnify glass
(3) Once you’ve arrived on the next page, click the button that says ‘CLOSEST’ near the top right of the page
(4) Once you arrive on the results page, review the facility options by clicking ‘MORE INFO’ to see details of each program. There you will find the address of the facility, hours of operation, and website address, as well as contact information. Reach out and schedule your consultation. If you are unsure which facility to contact, call the first one on the list and request they provide you with information as to where to seek treatment in your area
